Do you own a small business or do you ever plan to? Then next week’s Branding for Small Biz workshop taught by GPCW member Katie Klencheski is a must. The workshop will focus on how small businesses and start-ups can establish strong brands through a holistic (aka budget friendly) approach. In the first half of this workshop we’ll look at the basics of positioning, messaging, and visual identity through real world case studies. In the second half, we’ll discuss the ways that smart businesses utilize their start-up budgets to implement scalable brand identities and create branding plans that address next steps for workshop participants.
Katie Klencheski is an Art Director and Designer with expertise in branding and advertising. A graduate of Tufts University in affiliation with the School of Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, Katie has experience working with large and small ad agencies alike, including Ogilvy, Gotham and AgencySacks.. She has worked with international brands like Cartier, Sony, the Trump Organization and American Express, among others, in brand development, advertising, identity, print and interactive design.
